Witness of the God of Israel
and Ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ
Dear visitor, perhaps it may seem a bit exaggerated or bold to you that I use the titles "Witness of the God of Israel" and "Ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ" to present myself in the header of each of my web site's pages.
I use the term "Ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ" because the Bible mentions explicitly that we christians are ambassadors:
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors , as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. (2 Corinthians 5:20)
I must mention that I am not positioning myself as "the" ambassador of the Lord Jesus Christ, as if I would be the only one. I am one of many, but I am an ambassador of Him.
With respect to the title "Witness of the God of Israel":
Then he said: 'The God of our fathers has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth. You will be his witness to all men of what you have seen and heard. And now what are you waiting for? Get up, be baptized and wash your sins away, calling on his name.' (Acts 22:14-16)
